SUMMARY: Super Science Saturday

Location/Venue: Kennaway House, Sidmouth EX10 8NG

A full day of FREE scientific fun around Sidmouth with lots to do for families of all ages. Come along to find out about Geology, Chemistry, Maths and Engineering and make things to take home.

Events take place at Kennaway House, the Parish Church, the Sid Vale Association HQ and the Methodist Church & Hall. The Children’s Art Exhibition will be on display at Kennaway House.

Activities on offer: lots of hands-on and make and take, including motors, projectiles, bubbles, chemistry, physics, maths.

Geology talks and hands-on activities all at the Methodist Church Hall.

Exhibitors include: Exeter Science Centre, Exeter Maths School, Exeter School, Met Office, Institute of Physics, Colyton Grammar, Sid Valley Radio, Caroline Alliston STEM activities, Royal Society of Chemistry, Exeter Community Energy.

Collect your Dinosaur stamp card from the Information Point in Market Place, visit all four venues to collect a stamp and return it to the Information Point to enter the prize draw.

Join in with the chemical elements town centre treasure hunt with a chance to win one of two £25 prizes. Collect an entry form from any festival venue. Return the completed form to the Information Point in Market Place where the winners will be drawn at 4:15pm on Saturday 5 October. Entries close at 4:00pm.

All events are free of charge and there is no need to book.
