Join Dr. Bill Griesar and artist Jeff Leake from Portland State University’s Interdisciplinary Neuroscience minor program for a “knowing through making” event taking place at Kennaway House in Sidmouth.

Craft beautiful brain cells from pipe-cleaners and found objects and engage a range of visual arts to explore the brain and its function. Create your own brain cells while exploring what they do and the fascinating history of their discovery based on neuroscientist Professor Richard Wingate’s book The Story of the Brain in 10 1/2 cells.
